We hope everyone has had an amazing year so far and we can’t wait to see you in July. With that said, we have some pretty big changes for this year and we wanted to let everyone know about all the changes as soon as possible so everyone can plan accordingly.

We are super excited to announce that Anchor Baptist Youth Camp will have a brand new location this year! This is something we have been praying about as a church for years and the Lord finally opened the door. As many of you know, we were quickly outgrowing our current camp and had an immediate need for more beds. What a blessing! This camp is also much closer to our church which helps immensely with the logistics of running the camp.

At our new camp there is a pool with slide, paintball course, indoor gym, and a slip & slide so pack accordingly!

New Location:
Hoosier Hills Baptist Camp
2499 S County Rd 675 E, Dillsboro, IN 47018

With the new location of camp came a need to change the dates of our camp as well. These dates had to line up with what the camp had available as well as when Dr. Peacock was available to preach. Once again, the Lord lined everything up perfectly!

New Dates:
Monday, July 24th through Saturday, July 29th

We have always strived for our camp to be affordable and accessible to all teens who want to attend. With the rising cost of food, and the cost of campground increasing we have made the decision to raise the price per person to $200 per person for the week. This does include all lodging, activities, and 3 delicious meals a day, and 5 days of amazing preaching!

We know most of our attending churches do an amazing job at fund raising throughout the year to be able to assist their campers with the cost so we wanted to let you know as far in advance as possible so you can start planning now.

If there is anyone who would like to attend camp but just simply cannot pay the fee, please let us know and we will make arrangement.

And if there is anyone who would like to donate money to sponsor a teen to go to camp, please let us know of that as well and we will make sure those funds are used for that reason.

The age for campers is 12 – 20 years old.

All campers need to be able to get themselves up and ready for the day, be where they are suppose to be on time, shower themselves, follow directions given by their counselors or other adults in charge, and participate in all activities and games.

In years past we have been able to accommodate mothers with small children, older attendees, and other people with special sleeping accommodation needs with private or more semi-private rooms.  Our new camp does not allow us to do this. So please be aware, if you do attend camp, be prepared to sleep in a bunk house with other people/campers. If you are a mother with a small child, please reach out to Paige Baiano (765-617-1751) directly because those accommodations are limited and dependent on camper numbers and will still not be private.

If these sleeping accommodations will not work for you and you would still like to come we recommend finding a hotel in the cities nearby. You should be able to find some hotels within 20-30 minutes of the camp ground. You will then only be charged partial fee to cover food and preaching. We will still need you to register for camp and please note that you will not be staying on the grounds on your registration.

The registration form & fee are due ASAP and no later than June 15th, 2023. It is SUPER important for us to get all registrations on time in order for us to purchase enough food and t-shirts and plan teams in time. But PLEASE still notify us if an attendee cancels and will not be attending or if someone is wanting to come after the registration due date.
